Stalker’s Mark• Stalker’s mark uses black and white

with only colours on vivid colours and only uses instruments rather than dialogue.

• This has given me the idea to have colours in the present day scenes and black and white in the story, as if it happened years ago and is a distant memory.

• I’ve also taken the idea that all that will be in colour will be the blood in the story, drawing attention to the impact of the moment on the young girl

Suckablood

• Suckablood uses the rhymes in the story which I really liked as an idea as it shows that it’s truly from a child’s perspective and gives an eerie sense of innocence. I then decided to try and use this in my storytelling as well.

• Suckablood also uses female representation in their film which has encouraged me to use young female actors to encourage a response from the audience.

Dark Times

• Dark Times uses a constant POV shot which is especially obvious when the guy is being dragged backwards, giving more of an impact as it shows that is could be happening to the audience. Due to this, I have decided that the story scenes will be done from the point of view of the young girl but the current day scenes will be from an outsiders view.

Bedfellows

• Bedfellows was the short film that scared me the most as it seems completely normal until the very end. This has given me the idea to not completely wrap up the ending of my film and leave it on a cliff hanger which will leave the audience wanting to see more.
