But, it is also...Some cases concerning more the universities :

- to paraphrase some text without giving any references.

- to translate a document written in a foreign langage (and without any references to it).

- to paste an extract of a text without mentioning the author and quotes.

prevention and the fight against

plagiarism, signed by students.

Eg: Each year, students of the

Institute of Political Studies of

Grenoble, have an example of the

charter "plagiarism" of their institution

in their registration form.

What tools ? There are different solutions to assess the degree of plagiarism of a

document.

At the University of Grenoble, which are paid solutions, with extensive

analysis results that have been selected by the institutions: Ephorus and

Compilatio.

But even if all UFR are not equipped, there are still tools, less developed,

more limited but free, that allow a teacher to verify the origin of any

content. (Plagium in its « light version » for example)

What tools ?But teachers are not the only ones who are allowed to check content.

Students also have options such as Studium (Compilatio product) which,

through the purchase of credits, check the originality of a work, highlight

the sources not listed, etc.

Although Compilatio denies it, this tool has the somewhat controversial

"teacher" side.
