International TV series

THE SURVEY: We asked about 100 teenagers what international TV series they like more → this graph shows the results.

First place: Grey’s Anatomy (16%)Grey’s Anatomy is a TV series focuses on the life of some doctors who work at the Seattle Gray’s hospital. In every episode there are lots of themes in fact Grey’s Anatomy isn’t only about medical emergency there are also many love stories and family problems . The characters are mostly surgeons or doctors who want to get the specialization in surgery. The protagonist (if we can say that there is one) is Meredith Grey: she is the narrator of the show and has a complicate relationship with dottor Derek Shepherd (they –that you can see in the picture- are one of the couple most beloved by the public). This TV series has 10 season!!!!!! ( so far ) ☺

Second place: Gossip girl (15%) Gossip Girl is a TV series about the life

of some teenagers with lots of problems, secrets and love stories. Gossip Girl is a mysterious “girl” who enjoys writing on her blog the most scandalous information concerning the lives of Manhattan's elite.

Third place: The vampire diaries (13%) • This TV series is about the story of Elena Gilbert. She

and her brother Jeremy have lost their parents in a car accident so they live with their aunt Jenna in Mystic Falls. After summer holidays Elena returns to school, where she meets Stefan Salvatore, a vampire who returns home to know the girl, because Elena is identical to the vampire Katherine Pierce, who transformed him and his brother Damon into vampires. The two start a relationship but it is put into difficulty by Damon because he also loves the girl. This series is full of supernatural elements (witches, vampires, werewolves) but despite this it manages to maintain some normality in the lives of the protagonists!!!

Number 4: The OC (12%)In Orange Country can live only rich and successful people. But When Ryan Atwood ends up in prison, the lawyer Sandy Cohen decides to host him in its opulent home in Orang County, where he lives with his wife Kirsten and the lonely son Seth. Ryan has to be able to settle in, he will become the only Seth’s friend and he will help him to start a relationship with the pretty Summer. He too will fall in love in fact he will start a love story with Marissa.

Number 5: Arrow (10%)Oliver Queen is rich and spoiled. He does’t care what other people want and he hurts people who loves. But after a boating accident everything changes: Oliver is given up for dead, but he reappears, mysteriously, after 5 years. He’s not the same person, he wants to repairs all his mistakes. So by day he play the part of the billionaire dedicated to luxury and fun but during the night he becomes a superhero, armed with bow and arrows. He uses his physical abilities, fighting techniques and incredible skill with the bow to defeat the criminals who threaten his town; to do this he is helped by his friend Diggle and Felicity.

Number 6: Pretty little liars (9%)The series is about the life of four friends (Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields) after the death of their friend-enemy Alison de Laurentis. These girls start to receive strange messages from a mysterious figure (who signed as A) who seems to know all their secrets!! Who is A? What does she/he want from them? All 4 season of this TV series trying to answer these two questions however, without reaching a final answers..

Number 7: Chuck (9%)Chuck is a normal guy who leads his life in Burbank (California). It is a geek (a lover of technology and computers) and he works in an electronics store. But one day his life suddenly changes because of a computer software that is installed in his brain after watching it. From that moment, Chuck becomes a resource for the CIA and is approached by two officers, one of these is the beautiful Sarah. This is the beginning of many adventures and also of a relationship!!

Number 8: Greek (8%)This TV series is about a group of teenagers who are part of different fraternities. They enjoy organizing great parties and challenging each other. There are so many love stories!!! This TV series is really funny…. the characters are very nice!!

Number 9: Veronica Mars (4%)Veronica is the daughter of the sheriff of Neptune and she has a relationship with Duncan Kane, the son of a powerful family in the town. Her best friend is Lilly (Duncan’s sister). Veronica's life changes when Lilly is murdered. Her father Keith has to solve the case but he is forced to resign from the office of sheriff for having accused of murdering the father of Lilly. Veronica has to choose between her father and his friends; she choses her dad so she looses her popularity and becames an ordinary girls. Keith opens a detective agency, where he works with his daughter. This TV series is composed of 3 seasons in which will be found out who killed Lilly and new mysteries cames out. Fans of this series weren’t happy when the series was terminated so they tried in every way to make it continue and and were satisfied in fact the continuation of the series was released on a film that will came out on this March!!

Number 10: Once upon a time (4%)The life of Emma Swan is far from a fairy tale, but when the little Harry, (Emma’s son who she gave in foster care 10 years earlier) shows up at his door, everything changes. Harry believes that Emma is the lost daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, trapped in Storybrooke from a sleepy spell of the Evil Queen (like the other fairy tale characters). No one remembers his true identity and Emma could be their only hope for salvation ...
