Animal Sciences is describes as:
“Studying the biology of animal that are under the control of mankind”
• Historically

International Species Information System• The ISIS is an international non-profit organization
which serves more than 800 zoos and aquariums in 80 countries worldwide. It provide its members with zoological data collection and sharing software called ZIMS-the Zoological Information Management System. The ZIMS database contain information on 12,490 taxonomies at special level, 393,641 living species and 3,170,281 reported individuals in group. ISIS uses the basic biological information like age, parentage, sex, ratio of death and place of birth etc. According to this information they manage their animal collection.

The members of ISIS has increased steadily and time of writing the database collect the information on over 322,000 live specimen. resource planning and laboratory animal dataset in a single application. This allows us to monitor and manage all of the daily activities conducted in our research laboratories.
