CENTRES – CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SCHOOLS

• CENTRES is a European project, co-funded by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme. It is led by the British Council in partnership with eight organisations from across Europe (Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Poland, Slovenia and the UK)

• The project has created a European forum for issues relating to entrepreneurship education specific to the creative industries, and for sharing innovation and best practice in this area.

Pilot activities 8 countries were testing new methodologies in teaching creative entrepreneurship in schools. The methods included:

• Mentoring schemes• Motivational tools• Competitions • Summer camp• Community based projects

It is a resource for teachers and entrepeneurs, containingtools and methods developed by CENTRES and additionaluseful links.
