Certification System • WHAT IS ASNT?

ASNT stands for AMERICAN SOCIETY for NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING.

It is a pioneer body for certification in the field of NDT.

• WHY CERTIFICATION?

Certification is required because most of the ASME and other International codes require the person performing NDT to be certified as per Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A, Personnel Qualification and Certification in Non-destructive Testing or other equivalent International standard.
