STEP 1: Choose three QUOTATIONS.

Place them in an appropriate order…

Chronological?

Order of importance?

Save the strongest for last?

STEP 2: Add transitions.

AVOID firstly, secondly, finally, next, last…

ADD transitional phrases instead:– In addition to…– Not only… but also– Later in the story…– Consequently…– Furthermore…

STEP 3: Put it all together.

The thesis statement and clincher guidelines are the same .

The idea sentence construction remains the same with the addition of clear transitions.

The quotations are placed in a logical order.

Be sure: PRESENT TENSE & THIRD PERSON!
