OAKThe Oak is the most popular tree in the Izki park.

BEECHThe Beech occupies a quarter of the park.

The park is full of leafy and big trees.There are lots of trees, because the river Ega is near.The park and the plants are well conserved.

The climate of Izki is considered the transition between Atlantic and Mediterranean. Annual rainfall is more than 800mm.The heights of altitude is over 700 m that means cold winters and temperate summers.The annual average temperature is around 11 ° C.

Izki Natural Park is a historic place and it’s close to the Ega river. There, the agriculture is the only job they do and it´s almost uninhabited, but in the centre it´s the only place that it´s inhabited and all of them are farmers.It was declared Natural Park on May 4, 1998. It has 9.143 hectares.It´s located in Campezo, and it´s surrounded by limestone hills.It´s the third biggest park in Alava.There are 15 routes in the park to enjoy the park, its animals and the plants.
