John Keats was born on 31 October 1795 to Thomas and Frances Jenin's Keats in central London.

Keats was prolific in his short writing life, and is now one of the most studied and admired of British poets.

The poetry of the romantic revival is in direct contrast to

the poetry of the neo-classical poets of the eighteenth

century.

The romantic poets took a great interest in the

humanity, and describes the lives of common men and

woman in their poetry.

John Keats wrote ode on Grecian urn in may

1819.

The poem was published in January 1820.

The calls the urn as “ Unravish’d bride of

quietness”.

The urn is contrasted with the nightingale, as it

a product of human attempt on the other hand

the nightingale is a product of nature.
