ABOUT KARIM’S
• Cooking The Royal Food is the hereditary profession of Karim‘S
• wherever the Mughal's went they took over their ancestors along with them right from the times of Babur.
• The Mughlai food developed under the patronage of the Mughal Kings and Queens using the Indian spices
Allah has 99 names and Karim is one of them.
• In 1913, Haji Karimuddin Established the Karim Hotel in Gali Kababian, Jama Masjid, Delhi saying, "I want to earn fame and money by serving the royal food to the common man".
NATURE OF SERVICES AND PRODUCT
Karim’s is famous for non vegetarian items They specialize in chicken and mutton although it also serves
vegetarian foodSome of their specialities are:-
• Tandoori Murgh• Shahi Murgh Dopiaza• Lazeez Murgh Saa• Murgh-e-Jahangiri• Shahjahani Murgh• Jahangiri Qorma• Tandoori Raan• Tandoori Bakra

• Located at Gali Kababian, Jama Masjid, Delhi• Opposite gate #1 jama masjid• Surrounded by people who likes eating non
veg• The location of karim’s is within the reach of
tourists as jama masjid is a historical monument
Purchase management and storage
• The raw material is provided by local providers(chicken and mutton)
• Every 2 days , new raw material is delivered at karim’s as it is a perishable product
• Storage is done by refrigerating • The storage is done in the kitchen itself where
huge refrigerators are installed.
Maintenance
• Maintenance is taken care of on a daily basis• It includes the cleaning of the sitting area and
the eating area of the customers• Every other asset is maintained according to
the need
Capacity
• The seating capacity of karim’s is approximately 200.
• It is divided into 5 dining rooms• Separate AC dining room is also available• 40-50 waiter staff is employed which can serve
their alloted table
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
• Quality of the food is maintained since the time karim’s was established
• The art of cooking has been passed down by their ancestors to them through heredity
• There ancestors were the royal chefs who prepared the food for the mughal emperers and queens.
• Their vision is to serve the royal food to the common man
