The centre of the town is

one of the most beautiful

places. You can see the

town monument ‘Mother

Bulgaria’ there, our

school, some

cafes, shops, and other.

Surrounded by tall

fir trees and

flowers, you can

also see the

culture house of

the town. The

citizens in our

small town show

their talents in

singing, dancing, t

heatre

performances and

playing different

musical

instruments there.

In addition, the

town library is

situated there.

People can find a

rich collection of

books for their

needs.

There are some main industrial

objects in Kaspichan.

Transport, and railway transport in

particular, is the main means for

trading with goods, manufactured

in our factories. The first Bulgarian

railway passes though

Kaspichan, so it is one of the

oldest railway stations.

Roca was established in 1917 in

Spain by the Roca brothers and

initially produced cast iron

radiators. Today the main

product line of the company is

bathroom furnishing. This

product line was introduced in

1925 when based on its

experience with radiators

production, the company starts to

produce cast iron bathtubs.

Today "Roca Bulgaria" offers to

the Bulgarian market integrated

bathroom solutions in various

styles and market segments

through the brands Roca, Laufen

and Fayans.

Cris Oil 97 Ltd was

established in 1997. It

produces refined

sunflower oil.

The company

employs mostly

young and

skilled people

The Madara Horseman is

an early Medieval large

rock relief, carved on the

Madara Plateau.

The monument is dated

back to circa 710 AD and

has been on the UNESCO

World Heritage List since

1979.

The Madara Horseman is

now depicted on the

obverse of smaller

Bulgarian coins, issued in

1999 and 2000. An official

survey in 2008 on the

design of Bulgaria's future

euro coins was won by the

Madara Horseman.

Pliska was the first capital of the First

Bulgarian Empire between 681 and

893 AD. The town was destroyed

during the assaults the Byzantine

Empire between 969 and 972 and was

not rebuilt again. Between 1899 and

1900, archeologists from the Russian

Archaeological Institute in

Constantinople revealed the ruins of

the Medieval town.
