After completing "hard-to-reach" school, Khadija could not continue her studies due to financial difficulties

Bushra, a STAR project staff (a component of BRAC Education Programme) brought Khadija to the automobile workshop to receive automobile training and

a job.

Khadija was discouraged by many people from pursuing a career in the automobile industry, but she was determined in her pursuit.

Khadija received automobile training from her master crafts person (MCP) Mohammad Raihan Raja. She worked hard during her daily training sessions

After six months training, Khadija became a skilled automobile expert.

Nothing is possible without hard work and honesty

Khadija really enjoys her automobile job. Although very different and challenging for her, she feels proud of her work.

Khadija gave her earnings from the workshop to her mother and brother. Her mother hopes that someday, through her work, Khadija will become an

independent woman.
