The ball inside the field touches aperson other than a player

If, when the ball is in play, it touches the referee or anassistant referee who is temporary on the field of play,play continues because the referee and the assistantreferees are part of the match.

If, when the ball is in play, it touches a substitute playeror a substituted player who are on the field of play, thereferee shall stop the match and restart play with anindirect free kick against the team of the substitute orsubstituted player, from the position of the ball whenplay was stopped.*
