Objectives:• Know where explores came from and be

able to identify there location on the map.• Know who founded the voyage of the

explores and know where they came from as well.

• What role did each explorer partake.

The students will receive five blank maps, four of

them will be used for each explore(Columbus, Da Gama, Magellan, Cortés ) for them to label the start place of their destination and the end of the journey. The fifth map will be used for them to label where the explorers founding came from and from whom.

They will be introduced to four explorers from the

history text: Columbus, Da Gama, Magellan, Cortés . They will learn what they did, who supported their journey and the affects of their journey to present history.
