Students will be assigned a day before to create a map of their home. They will turn it in the next day and I will provided them with numbers to be the distance from one room to another. Then they will add and subtract to find the distance between rooms.

They children will be introduce to addition and subtraction. They will also learn how to use visual aid to help better understand math, with a map of their home. They will add and subtract the distance between each room to understand addition and subtraction.
