Welcome!

Itʼs great to have you on board. Your account has now been created and this guide will help you create an effective profile, drive leads and convert them into driving lessons sales.

Setting Up Your Profile

First you will need to login to your dashboard at https://lowpricelessons.com/instructor/login using the details you chose when joining then fill out the remaining bits of information used to display your offer in search results. Pay particular attention to:

• Car Type: Select the car you give driving lessons in from the drop down menu. If it is not listed here send us an email to [email protected] telling us the manufacture and model of car along with your username and we will have it added for you as soon as we possibly can.

• Short Description: Use this space wisely. In our learner driver surveys over 30% of users say when browsing for driving lessons they place more importance on this aspect of an instructorʼs profile than any other. The best descriptions emphasise the unique elements of the service while using the

city/town/neighbourhood name so learners know they are on the right profile. They are confident in the quality of their offering and this reflects value in their price. *Note. Profile descriptions that include a link to your website or unpleasant comments about fellow instructors will be removed without warning.

• Logo/Picture: This will be used in various sizes so itʼs important to use a picture or logo that is clear when both large and small. Keep things simple – for example a pleasant photo of yourself by your car or a high resolution version of your logo. Donʼt use lots of small writing or intricate designs. The ideal layout is landscape and the sizes are included below.

*Note. Be sure to follow the guidelines to ensure speedy approval of your profile. Pictures with web addresses or those of very low quality will delay this process.

• Best Deal: Craft this deal in tandem with your short description. There are many different strategies when it comes to offers and all have some merit but some will work better than others at different times of the year and in different locations. *Note. It makes sense that you offer your lowest price on your Low Price Lessons profile. Learners come to find their ideal driving instructor comfortable in the knowledge that with their chosen instructor they wonʼt get a better deal anywhere else. If you offer your services cheaper elsewhere our automated checks will notify us of this which may cause delays in the approval process.

When you have finished this process a member of the LPL Help Team will review your details and approve your profile. If everything is well you will begin showing in search results within 24 hours and your analytics and account pages will start populating.

My Account

This page records all pertinent information ʻat a glanceʼ which makes keeping track of leads, customer details and reviews quick and easy.

Along with all leads being sent to your mobile number and email address immediately, they are also listed here for safe keeping.

Basic accounts are limited in the number of leads they can receive each week, month and year. The number you have remaining is displayed at the top of the page.

Pro instructors have unlimited accounts along with many other fantastic features, to Go Pro click the link below or login to your profile and click on the Go Pro buttons you see on your dashboard.

Reviews

Your testimonials are listed lower down and from here you are able to decide if they are from real customers and if you are going to publish them to your profile.

To get reviews post a message on your social network page. Send a quick message round your previous customers and ask them to pop over to your profile and leave a review of your service. The more reviews the better as learners spent lots of time pouring over these parts of profile pages.

Driving lesson reviews which we can establish as legitimate i.e. if we have verified the customer from our own records or they link to their social networking profiles then reviews will be published automatically although you can still query these on from your My Account page.

Optimising and Tracking Your Profile

Over many months of feedback and testing from our community of ADIs we launched the Analytics section of the Dashboard. LPLʼs ʻpower usersʼ – those ADIs who drive the majority of their driving lessons through the site say this is the single most important tool for increasing leads.

Performance Chart

The line graph at the top tracks a number of your Key Performance Indicators over the preceding 4 weeks. This makes it easy to spot driving lesson trends in your local area, measure the effectiveness of changes you make and work on those areas which determine the Click Through Rate to your profile from the search results. These are the key metrics that drive leads and as such some instructors are addicted to this page.

Benchmarking

Views = Profile Views.

Leads = Call Back Requests.

Benchmarking information helps you see how your profile performs compared to that of your competition. This can help you understand those changes that are effective are those that are not.

The simple and clean tabular style helps you make direct comparison and derive effective analysis. For example if you are scoring really high on views compared to other ADIs but not as well on leads then you need to work on your short description and converting views to leads.

Alternatively if you are low on the table for views but high on leads then you may be able to increase views by adding a clearer logo or updating the first few lines of your short description (shows in search results for Pro instructors). When you get the

increase in views you will be in line for a bumper rise in leads with an already strong conversion rate.

This information is designed to help you. You can run a very successful profile on the site and only ever login infrequently.
