Definition of sketchnoting

Sketchnoting is a style of visual note-taking and note-sharing that is used to add interest and metal effort to codified information and its communication.

For students sketchnoting can work note-taking technique and for teachers a teaching journal.

Sketchnote as teaching aid

Sketcknotes can be used as a teaching aid. A sketchnote has to be comprehensive

reference for developing content around it. An instructor, as a classroom practitioner,

needs to capture his or her relevant information and thoughts on a given topic as a sketchnote to be converted into a slide, chart or chalkboard illustration for classroom interaction.
