What does mathematics look
like in the Unicorn’s
classroom?
We make patterns using cubes!
These friends decided to work together to see if they
could make their pattern longer than both of them
joined!
We work collaboratively to measure each other and
then see who is tallest and who is shortest.
We put everyone’s measurements
together so we can compare heights
We collect data on how tall we are and then we
record it in our math books.
We estimate how many hands and pencils long we think our classmate
will be. Then we check our guess using concrete objects!
