When people talk us about maya civilization we think in indians underdeveloped that were conquered by the spanish people but .. They were like we imagine? The answer is no , the maya culture was so developed emty of misterious and leyends… they made lots of spectaculars landmarks that knowadays we dont know how they made it .

We dont know exactly where the maya´s culture was originated , but nowadays we know where they live and afortunately , we can See some of Their landmarks like Chichén-itzá that is the most spectacular of them.

Maya´s civilization was located around the Yucatán in Mexico and we can see some citys like Tulum

The maya civilization was originated in 2080 bc in south america by the mesoamerican civilization . The Popol vuh (book of the cration) says that at first , people were like barbarians it was the god queztzalcoat who give to the civilization the knoledge.

Nowadays we don´t know exactly how this interesting civilization was created and this culture is emty of leyends and misterious.

The popul voh says that when the god queztzalcoat gave to the mesoamerican civilization the knoweledge, this civilization change to the maya civilization . This civilization started to built enormous buildings , to develop the mathematics and the astronomic. This culture was so developed in contrast with the others that live in south america. Today we know a a few things of this architecture and this astronomic ,that can compete with the one that we have nowadays, because the spanish spedictions destroyed all the books written by the mayas in XVI centuries.

The maya astronomy didn´t have any limit . they made a solar calendar that predict exactly the day of the solar eclipses. Their citys were built simulating the constellations of the universe and de most interesting thing is that they know some planets and stars that we didn´t know nowadays with our tecnology.they also maye the maya calendar that divided the year in 18 months of 20 days with a litle month of 5 days (365 days) this calendar is more exactly than the one we have nowadays.

In the VII centuries the maya astronomy was so avanced . The astronomers made a calendar that it was more exactly than the one we have nowadays. This calendar finish in 2012 . Mayas astronomers predict the final of the human civilization. they said that all the answers are in the universe .people think that the mayas said that in 2012 the world is going to finish but tis is no the truth . Mayas said that in 2012 the human civilization will change into a new one.
