INTRODUCTION
Raymond B. Cattell(1965) has given influential theory of Personality trait. Cattell
called this traits as dynamic traits as it helps in understanding personality. Human
ability, motives, intelligence, social skills, temperament are describe as traits. Cattell
attempts to reduce the confusion inherent in the description of traits by specifying
some as more important than others. Surface traits are relatively unimportant clusters
of behaviours that appear to go together whereas are the more important underlying
traits on which the surface traits are based. Over the years, many trait like models like
those of Allport and Cattell have been proposed, each stating the a different set of
traits best describes our personalities. Personality is the sum of the total of
characteristics traits on the basis of which people can be differentiated from each
other. Personality is the stability in a persons behaviour across different situation it
consist of characteristic that are relatively enduring and that make an individual
behave in a consistent and predictable way. Personality is the product of a culture to
do different thing in different situation it is affected by environment and society. It
shows the behaviour of human being in different situations acting upon him.
