I believe that the film should feature a dark twist on hide and seek. The film will feature a child running trough the forest being chased by something “dark” and “evil’.”

I believe that we should also make the camera go in and out of focus. This would be used to make it appear as if the character is disorientated. This would make the film feel more realistic

ELLIE STREETS

I believe that we should make a thriller for our short. This would allow us to use some aspects of horror whilst still making the film different and interesting. Next I also think that we should address mental illness in the film. This does not have to be obvious but we should reference it in some way. The film also needs to contain a plot twist to throw of the audience about the motives of the characters in the film. Low key lighting would also be perfect for the film to make the shadows stand out more and make the characters seem more in intriguing.

I believe that we should add some flickering effects in to the film to show the reference to mental illness but not make it too obvious. I think that wee should shoot in the woods as it would allow for us to set different moods using lighting and the atmosphere in the woods. Some of the film should also be shot in POV using Go-Pro’s this would make it appear more realistic and a more interesting to watch. The film should also feature some stabilised shots that show the cheaters form another perspective. Lastly I believe that we should use some aspects of natural lighting in the film to create a warmer feeling in some scenes.
