Personal Life

My name is Michelle Price. I am 29 years old, married, with three children. My oldest son is Anthony; he is 10. Next is Jeremy; he is almost 4, and Juliette; she is almost 3. I have known my husband since middle school, and we have been together for around 9 years.

I home school my boys, and we keep very busy with soccer, baseball, football, scouting, and traveling. I enjoy having all of my children home, and hope to do so until I begin my career.

Professional Goals

I am currently attaining a degree in Applied Behavioral Science, with minors in Psychology and Child Development.

I have 78 credits, and hope to graduate in early 2015.

I would like to continue my education with a Master’s Degree in Addiction Counseling.

As a future career, I hope to do intakes and crisis counseling for a drug rehabilitation center.

I FEEL THAT I AM A STRONG COMMUNICATOR BECAUSE I AM HONEST,

ARTICULATE, AND PATIENT.I AM FAMILIAR WITH TECHNOLOGY, AND CAN USE MANY DIFFERENT MEDIUMS TO

COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY.

Strengths in Communication

Literary Experience for my Classroom

Teaching children to read, and then helping them bring a book to life is a great way to foster a love of language and learning.

Something that I have seen done in a kindergarten classroom involved bringing the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life. It was brought to life by reading it, and then turning it into a play that the children performed for their parents and school mates.
