We are a Chicago-based non-profit organization with a mission is to educate brands on how to use mobile marketing effectively. The HMC is a safe forum for marketers and companies to learn how to use this new marketing channel to grow their businesses and enrich their brand.

The HMC believes that Chicago, the heartland of America, is the best place to bring mobile technologies to the average consumers because it is the epicenter of the Heartland where most of the retailers, packaged goods manufacturers and the average consumers are.

What is Mobile University 2011Mobile University is the experience created by the Heartland Mobile Council. To truly bring the value of mobile to marketers, we must educate them through content that demonstrate the impact of mobile to the human condition.

The MobiU curriculum combines education with mobile technology demos, mobile non-profit causes & arts/entertainment to surround the marketer with an immersive experience. This holistic approach will create the passion, urgency and investment that the mobile marketing industry needs today. This will increase our audiences’ mobile IQ and their mobile EQ.

At these experiences, mobile marketing experts, practitioners and attendees will:– Discuss insights and behavior of consumers during educational workshops – Listen to innovative and mind-opening speakers– See interactive exhibits that demonstrate mobile’s marketing potential– Hear about major announcements of mobile campaign launches– Enjoy mobile themed art exhibits/entertainment

Over 300 brands, marketers, agency representatives and product managers spanning the B2B and B2C channels from North America are expected to attend the MobiU2011 experiences

MobiU2011 Scholarships

• Provide tickets to key stakeholders for attendance to Mobile University 2011

Clients, employees, students, and more are eligible for scholarships

• Scholarship recipients will be available for meet and greet at event for exclusive networking purposes

• Name tags of scholarship attendees will carry logo of sponsor company

• Scholarships not accepted by a set date are assigned to a deserving candidate by the HMC (still in the sponsors name)
