Intrinsic Motivation

Motivation to perform a task for a reward from outside.

Grades, money, positive feedback.

Extrinsic Motivation

Is motivation to perform a task for its own sake.

The reward is the task itself.

We as teachers can motivate the students through variety of creative teaching strategies . By using these strategies, we can create an excellent environment to enhance motivation in second language teaching.
