Video Title: Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix)

VIDEO AUDIO

LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX

1. 0:00 – 0:30 – Start with a PS of the gym to show the setting (including a boxing ring, punch bags, weights, etc.) followed by a WS of the boxer in the corner of the gym stood there. Then, cut to a LS of the boxer skipping on a rope at a fast pace under a spotlight. Cut to a CUS to show the sweat dripping down the boxer’s face and then cut straight to an ECUS to of his eyes to show his determination.

0:00 – 0:30 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). The first 30seconds of the song, the tempo and rhythm will be upbeat but slower than throughout the rest of the song because as our music video will be a narrative we want the pace to continuously increase creating suspense for the audience.

2. 0:30 – 1:00 – Cut back to a LS of the boxer skipping at an intense pace pushing himself to the limit, then cut to a MS of the boxer’s legs and feet to concentrate and highlight on the intensity of it. Cut straight to a LS of the boxer on the punch bag and speedball training his fitness then continuous jump cutting between this and a TS of the boxer and a trainer practicing their fighting moves with pads and gloves for the rest of the scene.

0:30 – 1:00 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). For the start of this scene, the pace of the music is still slower than usually, however, as it hits around 50seconds, the tempo increases and the rhythm of the song picks up. This is when the tune of the music video kicks in and gets a lot more active.

3. 1:00 – 1:30 – Cut to a WS of the gym with various men weightlifting and training, however focusing on our main character the boxer. Next cutting to a CUS of the boxer’s arms as he lifts the weights for more detail. Then straight to another CUS of his legs as he squats followed by another CUS of his chest/stomach as he does sit ups.

1:00 – 1:30 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). When the tune of the music video has kicked in, this is when it is noticeable for the audience what song it is as there is many remix’s and versions of this specific song.

4. 1:30 – 2:00 – Start this scene with a MS of a set of weights then zooming out to a TS of two guys (1 being our main boxer) alternating between lifting weights and spotting one another… The intensity of the weightlifting can increase and jump cuts can issue between this shot above and ECUS’s of determination in the eyes of the boxers.

1:30 – 2:00 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). The beat of the song in this scene is upbeat and chirpy throughout. The rhythm stays the same right up until the end where it fades out and it becomes obvious the tempo is due to slow down again.

(Build up)

2:00 – 2:30 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). At this point of the music video, the key sound track fades out and you hear the same upbeat but calmer pace tempo as you do at the very beginning of the song.

6. 2:30 – 3:00 - This 30seconds of the music video will contain of just sparring between two men (one being our main boxer) and the shots will change every 5seconds from a LS, to a MS, to a WS, to and AS, to a CUS shot and back to a LS. This way it will be a very detailed part of the video and the straight 30 seconds of sparring will show the intensity of the sport and how you can’t give up and stop.

2:30 – 3:00 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix).“ “Towards the very end of this 30second segment, the song appears a little bit more upbeat as the pace and rhythm of the song slightly increases.

3:00 – 3:30 – Robert Miles – Children (Power Remix). Here there is a very continuous fast tempo however it is played at a very slow pace. With it being a remix, it is easy to see that things might have been sped up or slowed down to manually throughout the editing process. At the end the music fades out.
