In Kerrang they have used direct mode of address in the main image I have got the same direct mode address too because it attracts the reader because it looks like their looking at you

We have both used dark colors for our backgrounds but Kerrang has also used dark clothes for the singer, in mine instead of having dark clothes I have bright red because I think it makes Jamie standout moreMine also has a simple layout compared to Kerrang theirs is very cluttered I wanted a clear and uncluttered layout

• My magazine will be more for the rock society because it is dark and has articles about rock and that type of music genre.

• The fashion magazine is much more brighter than mine and has gossip, fashion and girly stuff where as mine doesn't its dark colored and also talks about music and new hits

Bauer is a company that distributes the Kerrang magazine (In the list under the logo is the country that they distribute to)They do distribute less than rollingstone (see next side)I think that this would be a good chosen for my magazine as they are based in the UK where as rollingstone are in the USA.

Bauer already had expireance with different types of magazine as the also produce gossip magazines which are take a break and that’s life but they produce kerrang whih is the same genre as mine.

The rollingstone have really wide range of distribution which is good if you would want to go globe as they could deliver to 22 different country's

But I don think that it would work with my type of music genre because I have a rock based magazine while rollingstone do a pop/rock and news.

The rollingstone are good if you produce a gossip/pop/fashion as they all ready have expereance with that

Looking at the two different publisher I think that the best one to go with is Bauer because they have experience with my type of magazine they also distrobute to many countrys

• The audience that would be for my magazine are people who listen to music, but more for the people who want to hear about rock and that genre of music, as I have articles about that topic

What I did to attract customers

• I made a direct mode of address using the main image on the front cover

• I also added some article titles on the front so that they get interested and want to read the inside of the magazine

• I made it so that they can put their own input on to the magazine so that they feel apart of the making of the magazine

Photoshop: is very useful in editing an image to fit the magazine and to add in effects.Quark: I used quark to make the magazine as it has temples and guide line and very easy to work with.Apple: when I was doing all my work it was on a apple mac it was hard at first but then I got used to it.Tumblr: is the blog site in which I used to show all my work I like using tumbler as I use it personally and know how to use it.Youtube: I what I used for my evaluation because I recorded them and it is a really useful website to get videos online.Prezi: is a type of power point that has different effects from regular ones which can show what I did and though in new ways

Preliminary task to nowI have learn many things from the begging to new. I have grown used to Photoshop and finding out about new tool and effects on the to edit an image like deleting the background using the contraster to give an image more warmth, also to make the image more vibrant. Getting used to quark took a some time as it was my first time, so was prezi. I think that I have got better at design the way the front cover looks and with the chose of colors. The way that magazines are laid out look simple but you learn that they actually have reasons and specific places to place things, how much to add and not to add and to make sure you don’t over clutter the pages. I also had to use cameras so I has to learn about the camera and the best ways to take pictures so that they would fit my magazine, I had to think about the lighting what type of shot close up, medium shot and long shot. When using the mac’s I wasn't used to them so getting used to them and learn about the short cuts for power point, tumblr and Photoshop. Tumblr was easy to use and very easy to understand I did learn how to edit the theme and about the HTML code for the them and how to edited that too.
