Winter is a very beautiful time in the year. It's a time when all nature is white.

Let’s compare the word “winter” in different languages. It has a very similar to English spelling in the Danish language - it is “vinter”. The same spelling this word has in the Swedish and Norwegian languages – “vinter”. I think there are many languages in which the word winter is spelt similarly but there are many other languages in which this word differs. For example: in Latin- hiems; in Belarusian- зiма and many others. [2]
