Winter is a very beautiful time in the year. It's a time when all nature is white.

Let’s compare the word “winter” in different languages. It has a very similar to English spelling in the Danish language - it is “vinter”. The same spelling this word has in the Swedish and Norwegian languages – “vinter”. I think there are many languages in which the word winter is spelt similarly but there are many other languages in which this word differs. In winter bullfinches and many other birds fly to our country. Some animals sleep when it’s cold. Many animals change fur before winter , for example squirre s do it in order not get cold, hares - to hide from dangers animals.

I like winter. We can play snowballs, sledge, ski and skate. We celebrate many holidays: the New Year, Christmas, 23 February and I celebrate my birthday in winter.

Winter is the best time of the year.
