My music video institution

Warner Music Group (WMG) also known as Warner Music is an American major global record company.

It was formerly owned by Time Warner; the worlds largest media conglomerate.

It is the worlds third largest music company (fi rst is Universal Music Group).

WMG also owns Warner/Chappell Music, one of the world's largest music-publishing companies.

It was announced on October 31, 2011 that WMG was in talks to acquire music company.

The goal of WMG was to combine with EMI and form a company that would eff ectively compete with the two other largest music groups: Universal and Sony Music Entertainment.

INTRODUCTION

There are many artists that are signed with WMG such as Bruno Mars, David Bowie, Wiz Khalifa and many more!

ARTISTS ASSOCIATED WITH WMG

After doing some in depth research I chose Warner Music Group (WMG) as my bands record label, this was for multiple reasons;

Firstly, they have worked with a diverse range of artists which is great because it will make our band feel welcome and Bangladesh Bangers are unique which means this will be a perfect institution.

Secondly, being the largest doesn’t mean it is the best which is why we have driven away from mainstream institutions such as Universal Music Group (WMG).

The institution has made many artists successful who are still currently dominating the charts such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran etc. We believe that they are able to ‘manage’ us and help us swarm our way through into the charts.
