Three English Projects
Favorites from this year:
Minarets High School 2009/2010
Class of 2013
Great Moments & Memories...
! The best field trip was probably the Savemart Center or Laser Quest! At the beginning of the year we went to the Pines Resort up at Bass lake; That ROCKED! It’s pretty hard trying to write the best moments and memories here at Minarets because every day there’s something new. There’s always something to look forward to!!!
Favorite Classes and Projects:
My favorite class this year has definitely been IT or Algebra 2.
My favorite project has been programming/creating games and the band tour in geography.
“I won the iPad training contest! WoOt!!!”
I really liked the game nights and Minarets unplugged. This school’s pretty
freakin’ awesome.

I really enjoyed being able to use Xcode to program

The Conference Every year my family and many others go to multiple CCI conferences and the Sealy conference is only one of them. Though not the biggest event of the year, the Sealy conference is probably one of my favorites. The conference consists of guest speakers, Jubilee, and every now and then a breakout session with Branded Duo, Pony Express, Dwayne Williams, or other professional music artists.(Song writing, etc.)
This year we had speakers Ronny Trice, Ronnie Harrison, Randy Free, and many more. The conference was held (as usual) at the All Around Cowboy Church and the event was coordinated by Coy Huffman. Every morning at about 9:30 we would head to the ranch to listen to the guest speaker. That would last until lunch time and after lunch we had a 2½ hour break. At three P.M. there would be Jubilee where a lot of guest singers/musicians played for a while and then we had another awesome guest speaker!
Every year the youth group at the All Around Cowboy Church plays a really cool game called Underground Church. This game is BY FAR the coolest game I have ever played. The object of the game was to get as many “Bibles” (Blank boxes) to your teams base. The previous day the youth leaders had hidden thirty “Bibles” all over the
ranch. The game was supposed to represent what it would be like trying to smuggle bibles into a communist country. When I asked the teens that had played what they had thought about the game, all of them had said that it was awesome and that they were looking forward to playing again next year.
Underground Church
ALL AROUND COWBOY CHURCH
The All Around Cowboy Church is in Sealy, Texas and is owned by Pastors Sonny and Gloria Rice.
SEALY, TX
Sealy Texas is a very small town just South of Houston.
THE HIDDEN BIBLES
The “Bibles” in Underground Church were so hidden, we never found them all! One was Duct taped to the side of a building about 16 ft. off the ground!
