Explanation: If people are meant to be with each other, no matter what the obstacles and hurdles

they undergo they would still find themselves in each other’s arms. If Cupid and Psyche gave up

immediately, they would have never find their happy ending.

Explanation: The lyrics say it all. Because of incapability of Pyramus and Thisbe to live without

the other here on earth, they decided that if they can’t be with each other on earth, then better kill

themselves and be with each other on the Underworld.

Orpheus and Eurydice

Explanation: I chose this song and particularly these lines because the love that they had was

eternal and genuine but because of his eagerness to see her too soon, caused the death for both of

them.

Ceyx and Alcyone

Explanation: These lines greatly correspond to Alyeone’s longing towards Ceyx after his voyage

and her insistency to see him and to be with him even after knowing his death.

Explanation: Even though Galatea was just a product of Pygmalion’s art, it didn’t hinder him

from loving her like a real living maiden. It relates to these lyrics that when you are in love, you

would care less of what people would say about you, the important is you love that person no

matter what.

Explanation: These few lines let us picture in our minds that forever does exist in love and it was

Explanation: For this song is about one-sided love which depicts Endymion and Selene’s love

story. Endymion never to know Selene’s love for him and Selene forever being contented upon

her caresses and kisses to him.

Explanation: Apollo, captivated and lured by Daphne’s enchanting beauty got me writing these

lyrics that no matter how much avoidance she does to Apollo, and him being so eager to make her

his still found a way to capture her by changing her into a tree of Laurel.

Explanation: This song suits their love story since Arethusa was being chase by the persistent and

insistent Alpheus upon making her fall in love with him and eventually capturing her heart after

the long chase.

My Saddest Love Song

Explanation: I consider this song as my saddest because of its very emotional and heavy lyrics in

which the lyrics foretells a sequence of events. From a happy couple to a tragic accident that led

the guy from dying just after they have exchanged vows in a hospital.
