Gap year sports are amongst the most popular options for students looking for a gap year abroad. Martial arts in China, soccer coaching in Africa, surfing in South Africa or diving and working with marine life in South America are all possible and of course many more.So if you are looking at spending your gap years abroad, I have put together this list of the Top 5 sporting destinations1) South America - A historic and beautiful area of the world with friendly locals. The marine life makes this an excellent choice for those wanting to spend their gap year abroad diving.
