Seminar Rules
Seminar rules & Etiquette
Synchronous Seminar: If you can’t make it to the live seminar complete Seminar Option 2.
Seminars start and end on time. If two minutes late or greater, 0.42 points will be deducted per minute
late or leaving early.
For complete credit you must arrive on time and stay the entire hour.
Graded on frequency of posts.
Stay on topic with your comments
Time will go quickly during seminar

If we need to refocus and move on I might say “Hold your comments, or let’s regroup”
Seminars are recorded and you can view or read the transcript saved under the seminar archive.
Remember to use netiquette – respect everyone.

If we experience technical difficulties we will continue the discussion in the live section under course home or we could all go to AIM to finish out the discussion
The grading rubric for option 1 & 2 are posted in the syllabus.

Discussion Board - 31.5% of grade 35 pts x 9 wks = 315 points

Grades will be posted: Projects, Discussion, Seminar option 2 – within 5
days of due day or by Sunday of the following unit.

Once graded, a numerical value will be assigned and appear as “25/25”
“0/25” indicates the assignment is due but has not been received
To find your comments on graded assignments click on your score “25/25”

Late Work – No late work will be accepted! Kaplan University does not allow late work to be accepted.
If there is an extenuating circumstance as described prior, then contact me for alternative arrangements. Documentation must be provided
