• But?• Activities?• Training courses?• Eh, is there anyone there?

Activities• Meetings. • Reader’s club.

degrees• Only one, and only with one student…

Some ideas collected here• Second Life is out of the Immersive Education Initiative.• Technical requirements.• If socialization is not a goal, we’d better to use other tools.

Some ideas collected here• Don’t use it only for upload contents• If it’s empty, is boring.• Ahhhhg!

Some questions• Is there enough information for potential users (professors, students)?• Aren’t we able to explain the benefit of this environment for educational purposes, especially for blended learning?• Has Second Life as a whole, and specially as an educational environment, perhaps been a victim of its own success?

Answers• Many given here.• Students don’t know we’ve got this tool.• Some professors do, but their framework is different.• And other professors…

Opportunities• We don’t try to change educational paradigms, only to help… •Blended learning: Isolation leads to dropout.• Library training courses for blended learning degrees.• Information Literacy.
