St. George's church We have two main churches. One of St. Georges and one of St. Sebastian. The church of St. George's is a sixteenth century baroque Roman Catholic church. The dome was added in 1684 on the designs of Lorenzo Gafa. The last work of art was done by Mattia Preti. The church was consecrated on May 6, 1731.

St. Sebastian’s Church

First the church of St. Sebastian was a chapel. Then in 1873 a builder named Michelangelo Azzopardi proposed to the Bishop of Malta plans, to build a bigger church instead of the old chapel. In 1880 the work on the church started and in March 9, 1890 the church was blessed by the Vicar General Guzeppi Mercieca. In 1937 new plans where made to build a larger church to serve as the parish church.
