Dear Kim,

How was your semestral break? Did you get to enjoy it? Did you go on your trip to Macau as you had hoped? They say Macau is a beautiful place.

Sadly, I was not able to enjoy my vacation since I got sick. I had to stay at home to get a nice rest. I had to drink a lot of medicine, eat vegetables and fruits the whole time. The only time I got a chance to go out was when we had to go to the doctor for check-up. I did not really think that I would be spending my break that way.

Even so, I am looking forward to see you soon. There is lots of news to catch up on.

Your friend,

Noelyn
