  12. 12. QuoteA modern school needs to be a lot more thanbrick and mortar of studies. The uniqueadvantage of being source of education isgone. Quality or Quantity of educationalcontent can no longer be benchmark of qualityof education for a school; high qualityeducational content everywhere on theInternet. For example its no more the responsibility ofschool to make a student memorize birthdayof Martin Luther King. This information iseverywhere on the Internet. A student can getthis information using Google on smartphonein a matter of a seconds. The role of teacherscomes into play when there is something thata student cant find and understand usingmobile device in less than 2 minutes. Thus, the role of school has shifted from beingthe source of knowledge to the validator &applier of knowledge.Journalist Pulkit for the onlineeducation news agency Edudemicwrites:
