PDHPE is taught in school to encourage students to value themselves and others, while promoting physical activity.

Teaching PDHPEThey learn to recognise physical, social and

emotional growth as well as helping them to learn effective and responsible action.

All this and more is incorporated into the scopes covered such as;

- Active lifestyle- Dance- Games and Sports- Growth and Development- Gymnastics- Interpersonal Relationships- Personal Healthy Choices- Safe Living

Active kids are healthy kids!

Being active means to participate in physical activity! Children benefit by:- Developing strong bones and muscles-Improve self-esteem-Having opportunities to make friends-Developing skills such as communicating, awareness and decision-making

But along with exercise they need the goodness of a wide variety of nutritious foods

This means plenty of fruits and vegetables!

What they are taught in school will be a foundation for them to adopt a healthy lifestyle to carry out for the rest of their lives.
