PDHPE

PDHPE builds on the whole student through cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development. Students are provided with a range of opportunities through PDHPE as they learn about and practice a variety of ways of having a healthy and active lifestyle. Also PDHPE allows students to develop their knowledge, understanding and abilities in an array of areas such as safety, bullying, how our bodies work, physical activity, hygiene and healthy eating.

Healthy Lifestyle

PDHPE enables students to access learning to adopt healthy lifestyle choices to promote an active lifestyle through physical activity, mental health, as well as social and emotional wellbeing.

Physical Activity

PDHPE encourages and educates students to be physically active through a variety of games for the best possible health benefits. This can be achieved through PDHPE classes within a primary school environment as well as outside school environments.

Healthy Attitudes

Through the PDHPE curriculum students are provided with an educational understanding and information which can assist them in making knowledgeable decisions in regards to their eating habits, the way they treat others and overall the way they treat their bodies

PDHPE IS FUN!!

PDHPE is a fun and exciting way for students to gain an understanding of their bodies, how they move, how they function and how they can influence that. It gives students a sense f ownership, of self control as they are the ones that control the outcome in regards to their bodies. Not only this but it enables students to achieve a sense of self, self esteem and self confidence through play and social interactions.
