I am assuming you are thinking about being Entrepreneurs

I hear this all the time

“if you can’t get a job then create a job”

– is that an entrepreneur?

Definition that I like

"An entrepreneur sees an opportunity which others do not fully recognise, to meet an unsatisfied demand or to radically improve the performance of an existing business. They have unquenchable self-belief that this opportunity can be made real through hard work, commitment and the adaptability to learn the lessons of the market along the way.

Two types of entrepreneurs that I have observed

• Change-makers– Notice the change that society needs

• Traders– Buy for X and sell for XXX

The Change-maker

• See and feel what is needed to make society and life better for others

• Are really driven to achieve• Are intuitive and sensitive to the world around

them• Have always been problem solvers• Have a song to sing• Not necessarily great at business!• Forget to make money

The Trader

• Focus their wealth strategies around buying low and selling high.

• Very focused on wealth• Highly transactional in their thinking• Often called an ‘entrepreneur from a young

age• Usually make a lot of money when young

So why is this relevant to my talk about ‘the online social world’

The online world is about creating ‘followers who believe in you as a person

IT IS NOT A MARKETPLACE LIKE Ebay, Amazon or an Ecommerce site

Transactional Mindset• Suspect• Prospect• Customer• Process• Hands-off• Automated• Internet marketing funnels

Social Mindset• Stanger• Friend• Follower• Friendship• Engage and discuss• ORS (open, Random Supportive• Social!!!!

Which type of entrepreneur uses which method?
