Kualiti guru pelatih hari ini lebih baik daripada dahulu dan antara sebabnya adalah perkhidmatan seperti syarat kemasukan dan peluang kenaikan pangkat. Komitmen dan semangat untuk menjadi guru yang berkaliber hendaklah dipupuk mulai dari menerima latihan di institut pendidikan guru. Guru yang mempunyai komitmen dan semangat yang tinggi pasti bersedia untuk dihantar di mana-mana lokasi di seluruh negara termasuk di kawasan pedalaman. (9 Julai 2015)
Kualiti pengajaran merupakan wahana paling berkesan untuk mentransformasikan pendidikan dan selanjutnya meningkatkan keberhasilan murid. Kementerian beriltizam untuk meningkatkan kualiti pengajaran di sekolah dengan memperkukuh amalan terbaik dan memberikan ganjaran kepada guru berkualiti dalam bentuk laluan kerjaya yang lebih baik. Laluan ini mestilah menyokong pembangunan kerjaya guru yang melaksanakan proses pengajaran di sekolah. PPPM 2013-2025

We must develop teachers who are able to undertake greater responsibilities as they are at the forefront of educating our youth (NIE, Singapore, 2008)
The teaching profession has a high status in Finland. Teachers are also autonomous in their work, as the system is based on trust rather than control
The goal of the 1995 Education Reform was to train excellent teachers who could meet the challenges of increasing assertive students, the information age, globalization, and the changing field itself.

To ensure students in the NSW public education system are provided with every opportunity for a quality education in a safe environment, it is essential that all teachers are aware of and comply with their professional responsibilities.
Learning programs should cater for the “whole learner” – the teachers program should include activities that develop the child physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. • Designing a balanced program – the program should allow for a variety of activities namely indoor, outdoor, group activities, free play, quiet or individual etc.
