giving a general description of the scene, describing a place, people and actions and making basic guesses and assumptions about the photo.

- practice and prepare a detailed description of a photo with the language learned.

- give comments on their partner’s picture description.

The first thing that I see is two students who are conducting an experiment and trying to stir liquor in a bottle. The color of the liquor id quite bright and vivid.

They seem to be pretty occupied with this experiment. The one on the left is writing down some notes on a paper and the other seems to be in charge of this experiment. Both of them are wearing laboratory goggles.

On the tables, there are some experimental materials. Also I can see a calculator, and it seems like it is necessary for this experiment.

From this picture I can tell that it is a chemistry class and they are quite serious about the upcoming result.
