Why are phones considered a technologie They are considered a technologie because there's multiple access meaning they placed multiple data or voice connections into a single radio channel.

Why we can't live without our phones part 284 percent of people surveyed in a TIME magazine poll in 2012 said they couldn’t go a single day without their mobile device in hand..One in four people check their phones every thirty minutes, while one in five check every ten.

Time Magazine’s Nancy Gibbs said, “Thumbs are stronger, attention shorter, temptation everywhere: We can always be, mentally, digitally, someplace other than where we are.”

Why we can't live without our phones part 3Researchers from Iowa State University developed a questionnaire to see if you are a nomophobe (someone who is afraid of being without their mobile phone).

Questions included:

I would feel anxious because I could not instantly communicate with my family and/or friends

I would feel nervous because I would not be able to receive text messages and calls

I would be uncomfortable because I could not stay up-to-date with social media

I would feel weird as I would not know what to do.
