Who Invented The First Telephone/cellphone?

The first person to invent the telephone was Alexander Graham bell. Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland and the person who invented the first cellphone was martin cooper. Martin Cooper was an american engineer who was born on December,26,1928.

Why Was The Telephone Invented?

Alexander Graham Bell was inspired to invent the telephone because of the deaf children he taught and his deaf wife and mother. Teaching them inspired him to create his electrical speech machine also known as the telephone. The telephone was also inspired by the telegraph.

How has it changed or improved in function until today?

We went from telephones (landlines) to flip phones onto smartphones (cellphones). Well now we have new and improved phones. We can now text and call people around the world. We can take pictures and download games and listen to music and so much more. We also have different companies where the phones come from like samsung, apple, cricket, etc.

Right now there is a lot of new technology that has come out. The most talked about phones are the Iphone se, iphone 7 and the Galaxy s7 edge and there might be an iphone 7 coming out this month.

The telephone was use to make calls and only phone calls. People needed an easier, quicker way to communicate with others. When the public decided waiting for letters in the mail wasn’t convenient, innovators started coming up with new ways. The phone was the “winning invention”, and we have been using it ever since. Telephones had a huge impact on societies business industry. It made it easier to do transactions, it kept money from having to travel long distances, it also helped open new job opportunities. For the people it helped them to check on family. Telephones helped people stay in touch and always have help.

The Difference between the cell phone & the Telephone

THe biggest difference between the two is the way they make calls.The telephone, aka the landline, uses a wired connection that connects it to The telecommunications network. The landline then uses wire telephone lines to transmit calls. The cell phone take a more modern approach by using radio waves to transmit calls.
