Cytokinin• Two types of cytokinins: Adenine-type cytokinins - kinetin,zeatin and

6 benzylaminopurine• Most adenine-type cytokinins - synthesized in roots.

Phenylurea-type cytokinins- diphenylurea and Thidiazuron(TDZ)

• Phenylurea cytokinins - no found in plants.10
