PLTS FESTIVAL NAME: Learning Outcome Skill (General) Skill (Specific) Description (How did you achieve this PLTS?) 6.2 Creative Thinkers 2 ask questions to extend their thinking We were put in had different roles to 3 different groups and the groups were the art group, performing arts group and the promotion team. We had many ideas for the festival and we decided to make an art exhibition. Therefor my question was to find out what activities would be good for a festival. 6.2 Team Workers 2 reach agreements, managing discussions to achieve Results We decided to make an art exhibition for the festival. We also decided to make leaflets to let people know they can submit there work. 6.3 Creative Thinkers 3 connect their own and others’ ideas and experiences in inventive ways We had many ideas for the visual arts side of the festival and we connected all of the ideas and came up with an art exhibition in the end. 6.3 Creative Thinkers 5 try out alternatives or new solutions and follow ideas through We received a few pieces of art work for the exhibition but it wasn’t enough for an exhibition so we decided to ask our teacher if they can let us use the past art students in year 11s art in the exhibition. We used it in the festival and it was very successful because lots of people came to the festival art exhibition. 6.3 Creative Thinkers 6 adapt ideas as circumstances change We didn’t have much art work after getting past year 11s art work, so we put in our clay pots that we made in Artefact, one of the other units. We displayed our pots in the middle of the exhibition. 6.3 Team Workers 2 reach agreements, managing discussions to achieveresults We decided that I and Suma will collect the art work for the art exhibition and that Shapla and Moushmoi will create the posters/leaflets to let everyone know. 6.3 Team Workers 5 take responsibility, showing confidence in themselves and their contribution We all had responsibilities but some other members of our group didn’t end up making the posters/leaflet so Suma and I made them because nobody else didn’t want to make them.

To give support to others on the day of the festival I went and

helped out in the film room with the popcorn machine and

managing the bouncy castle when other members were

having a break. Suma and I also helped out with making and

giving out tea and coffee to the volunteers, helpers and stall

holders.

6.4 Self Managers 4 anticipate, take

and manage risks

In the art exhibition there was at least one of us in the room

to make sure none of the art work in damaged and if anybody

has any questions.
