Personal Health History• My parents both found my name from two

different places the bible, (Dad’s Idea) and a magazine with “JOSIAH” in big bold letters (Mom’s Idea) at any rate it seemed meant to be.

• My name means "YAHWEH supports" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this was the name of a king of Judah famous for his religious reforms. He was killed fighting the Egyptians at Megiddo. In England this name came into use after the Protestant Reformation.

• I was born on March 15th 1992, in Madison, WI.

How my family came to America

• My grandparents on my mom’s side migrated here when one of their children was born in America, my mom was in Mexico at the time. Because my aunt was born in America the entire family was able to migrate to America (at the time that was the law) My Dad’s family currently resides in Mexico and they never made the journey up. My dad however, migrated through a work permit, later he obtained his permanent residency until finally becoming a U.S. citizen.

Family Health History

• My family only has slight traces of illnesses including arthritis on my dad’s side and some psychological predispositions on my mother’s side, including schizophrenia (my uncle is a schizo) I don’t believe I’ve inherited either considering I’m sane (enough), and I didn’t have an arthritis flare-up at the age of 15 like my dad did, So I think I needn’t worry too much.

I feel pretty good about the amount of time I studied. However, just because I take a long time or spend the amount of time I do doesn’t necessarily make me feel like I’m learning more.

The average amount of sleep I get a night to what I should be getting is quite appalling I could try to get to bed earlier but with work, that isn’t really all my choice.

Seeing as I don’t have TV, or spend crazy amounts of time on the phone I do find my behavior acceptable.

Unique SelfArtists -Josiah Rivera/Breydon Beshore

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

All we have is one cigarette

Ration it between the two of us

Waiting for our next show

Cause five dollars gets twenty more meals

Our meals are age eighteen and up

We are artists and accept being penniless forever

There's no money in music so we do it only for our pleasure

Tape our mail to the sidewalk

On the corner of fifth and main (fifth and main)

Foreclosed houses are exits for closed doors

That we have shut ourselves and locked behind us

We are artists and accept being penniless forever

There's no money in music so we do it only for our pleasure

We go home at night to an empty shed

Use our cases as a bed

And if our floors are rough

We sand them down with our fingertips

Make them smooth again

If our floors are rough

We sand them down with our fingertips (Make them smooth again)

We are artists and accept being penniless forever

There's no money in music so we do it only for our pleasure

This piece represents me not only because I co-wrote it, but because I completely agree with the fact that making music isn't about making money but about the expression and art that comes out as the product. I'm all about expression, in every situation. You should always express what you feel and what better way to do so tan through art and the way you feel.

One Person that has made a HUGE positive impact on my life is my Girlfriend and forever dearest friend Lexi, her complete acceptance of who I am as a person has inspired and rekindled my faith in love which I thought I once lost. She is so caring, loving, trusting AND trustworthy; she is the most passionate person I've ever had the privilege to come to know. Everything she does exudes elegance, no matter what it is, she's so graceful. She is absolutely positively genuine and is always so true to herself; I admire that so much, (everyone is so fake nowadays.) I've never grown so close to anyone so fast and so honestly. I can happily say that she has made the MOST positive impact in my life. She's an artist in every single way and I can't EVER stop smiling when I'm with or around her. She supports me through everything and even thought it's only been three months two weeks and three days, I feel that this is just the very start of a very healthy and very strong romance that can actually last.

Dearest Love,

I want you to know that you've made me infinitely happier and thanks to you the sun shines brighter and the air smells sweeter, you've given me so much inspiration, and you are truly the most interesting and intriguing person I've EVER met. I've never loved someone so honestly, so purely. You have truly made my life SO much better, every moment that I'm with you is a moment submerged in complete peace and tranquility. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have given me these past three months, I look to the future with such excitement at what it holds for us. You are the one person that has never been transient; our love is not of an ephemeral nature and I can honestly say I've never been happier. I'm so glad to call you mine and every day I grow to love you more and more, my heart becomes more intertwined with yours each day and I am overcome with constant joy every time I look at you. I've never burst into tears at the sight of anything I've considered beautiful, but you are the one thing that completely broke me down regardless if I wanted to or not, (I liked it [:) With you I can be myself, which is what I've been longing for so long, someone I could tell everything to without fear of judgment or criticism. Before knowing you I was completely convinced I would never find anyone ever again, you graced my life with your more than gorgeous presence. I love you with all my heart and I want to thank you again for simply existing.

In family, working and living life: In three years I will most likely be here in San Diego or In San Francisco pursuing my dream to be a Music producer/engineer. I will be studying at the Art Institute provided I have vigorously fought for my path there, most of my family will be in Oklahoma and I myself will be working and chasing my dreams, al the while never forgetting who I truly am.

In five years I hope to have almost completed my degree in media arts and have be on my way to having an entry level position in the field. I hope to be out of the grunt working phase of my life by then.

In ten years I hope to have started my record label, be writing and recording my own music as well as that of my friends and others who wish to have their music produced professionally. I hope that I will still be in California and that I can regularly see my family and in all honesty I hope to have achieved happiness.

If I could accomplish just one thing in my life it would be to forever maintain a sense of happiness and be in a permanent state of well being both on the inside and out.

Media and MeThe media takes no part in influencing the way I dress,

nor does it determine what activities I occupy my time with, and it does not, definitely DOES NOT influence the music I listen to. Since I rarely have interaction with what goes on the media, because I really don't care I don't really think it influences me in any other way than what I might see as strictly what I don't like. The media for me serves as a window to what everyone else is doing, and honestly I couldn't care less.
