An investment of` 20,55,140 crore is projected (twice that for tenth FYP)

3. Constrained by budgetary allocation so role played by PPP assumes significance 4. Investment strategy of govt. promotes a combination of PPP and standalone to private firms 5. Projects which are financially viable PPP BOT will be preferred 6. Main sectors include Highways, Airports, Ports, Railways and Urban Transit System 7. Latest data suggests that 34% of total infrastructure development during the first two years ofthis plan has came from private investment as compared to 24.86% during the tenth plan 8. The projected private investment during the Eleventh Plan is ` 7,42,912 crore, which isabout 82 per cent of the total investment made during the Tenth Plan 9. In the State Sector several concessions in roads, ports and urban infrastructure has been awarded on PPP mode.
