The Iguazú Falls is a specific tourist region. It is most visited in summer, and in winter holidays. Also many tourists like going during Easter week or on a long weekend.

Iguazu Falls experiences a tropical rainforest climate with abundant precipitation and high temperatures all year-round.

From Foz do Iguaçu airport the park can be reached by taxi or bus to its entrance, and also free buses take tourists to various points within the park. The Argentine access across the forest is by a Rainforest Ecological Train.
