Different feelings need different responses
The ability
to
understand
and name
emotions is
an
important
starting
point
It’s normal to experience a range of feelings(even in response to the same thing)
Our toolboxes will be unique
to usWe can always add new tools
We need to explore and practise new ideas when
we’re feeling calm
When I
feel sad I

It can help to write or draw them and carry them with us
Discuss in a group – one feeling per
group
Brainstorm on BIG paper
Post-its on different walls for different
feelings
Write as many as you can in
