From a young age, I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I was raised in a house where my mother had a home daycare. From then on, I have babysat, tutored children, and worked at a daycare center. I have always loved children and would love to continue making a difference.

In my spare time…In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I like going shopping, traveling, exercising, going to the movies, and grabbing a bite to eat with friends. This summer, I went to the Dominican Republic and built a library for children.

What I hope to gain

During this experience, I hope to gain more confidence and comfort in front of a large classroom. I also hope to learn more about the lesson planning process and what goes into creating a whole lesson. Finally, I hope to gain classroom management techniques.
